Where it all started
A fig candle, a coffee candle, and a very clean kitchen.
Fig & Coffee began with two candles on one counter. One smelled like fresh figs from the tree outside, the other like the first pot of coffee in the morning. We lit them every time the house was finally clean, and the little ritual stuck: tidy up, light a candle, sit down.
Friends kept asking where the candles were from, and then where the mop was from, and then the cleaner. So we started sharing the things we actually used. The candles are still where it all started, and they are still the first thing we light.
